Nella riunione tenutasi venerdí scorso della Commissione Controllo e Garanzia che presiedo, ho presentato ai Consiglieri commissari un report sullo stato delle risposte alle interrogazioni presentate.
Premettendo che la Giunta, da regolamento, ha 20 giorni di tempo per rispondere alle interrogazioni, il dato che emerge suona as a real wake-up call: 30% of the questions raised in 2009 still received no response, that percentage drops to 22% for questions presented in 2010.
This is a worrying and not physiological, which poses a serious threat to its primary business of the Councillor, or to operate a strict check on the Executive.
It is not permissible questions tabled in August 2009 to date have not been answered.
During the discussion, the Commission unanimously assurance and has given me the task of representing this unfortunate situation to the Prime Minister Hall and the Mayor, in order to eliminate this situation that violates the regulations.
I hope that the Mayor, acknowledged the situation, should take action to ensure that all city councilors, the majority and the opposition the chance to play a full role that has been entrusted to them by citizens.
